ACCES Employment’s Online Jobseeker Support

The ability to readily and quickly access job search resources, workshops, and online tools based on individualized needs is essential for achieving employment goals.  This requirement has been significantly amplified due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The challenge is often the lack of credible and localized online resources that are accessible and available to all jobseekers.

With over 35 years of experience delivering employment services in the Greater Toronto Area, across Ontario and to pre-arrival immigrants around the world, ACCES created a one-stop online gateway for easy access to job search support, 24/7, for all jobseekers.

e-ACCES is an Online Job Search Centre that offers the following resources and tools:

  1. A Monthly Calendar of Job Search Workshops and Online Events:

ACCES offers a regular monthly calendar of job search workshops and online events that provide direct employment support, employer connections and advice to jobseekers online.  Our monthly calendar includes the following events:

    • 5-6 employment workshops online delivered on key job search topics including Resume Development, Interview Preparation, Networking for Your Job Search, Social Media for Your Job Search, Second Career and Workplace Communication.
    • 6-8 employer workshops and events (6-8 events per month) featuring experts from various sectors, hiring managers and other employment experts to provide insight and context to jobseekers about Canadian workplaces


2. ACCES’s learning hub of resources (e-ACCES) currently has over 250 articles, videos and tips organized to provide streams of learning for jobseekers in key job search areas. The resources are formatted to be quick and easy to access, providing important job search tips and complementing longer workshops available in live or e-learning formats.  You can search e-ACCES for support on the following topics:

3. Jobseekers will be able to find resources and job search answers with VERA (ACCES’s AI-powered Virtual Employment and Resource Attendant). VERA is online and ready to discuss any job search questions, surface the right resources quickly, and act as a 24/7 guide to resources, learning and materials available on the online job search center.  VERA can also recommend and refer jobseekers to available ACCES services and workshops as required.
