Saskatchewan Environment requires an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Crew Chief for Aviation Operations in La Ronge. Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, you will supervise a crew of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers performing periodic inspection on airframes, engines and systems in fleet of 17 firefighting aircrafts including CL215’s, CL215T’s, CV 580A’s, Baron 55’s and Twin Commanders assessing deficiencies in airframe, engine, electrical, hydraulic and instrumentation systems and repairing or replacing deficient components in accordance with Transport Canada approval standards.
As Crew Chief you may be assigned to any aircraft type, but at this time we require a Crew Chief to oversee the CV580 program. To qualify for this position you will possess an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1 and M2 License with Aircraft Certifying Authority for the CV580 and Twin Commander ideally on all Aviation Operations aircraft types. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is also required.
