GO FOR TEA a well-established speciality Tea restaurant located at #13-179 Enterprise Blvd., Markham, urgently require a Restaurant Assistant Manager.

 

Job duties:

·       Supervise and manage daily operation of restaurant, including planning schedule, assigning shift and administering pre-meal meeting.

·       Develop operation system by evaluating and improving work procedure, personnel assignment and inventory management.

·       Plan and implement market research to improve restaurant sales productivity.

·       Develop special, promotional and merchandising plans, advertising materials and ensure adherence to local and company standards.

·       Responsible for food and beverage procurement, including making budget plan, negotiating price and purchase quantity with retailers and merchants.

·       Maintain proper sanitation, hygiene standards in kitchen and maintain effective store presentation.

·       Assist general manager with renew and negotiate lease contract of restaurant.

·       Coordinate with team to meet sales target and provide excellent customer service to increase productivity.

·       Implement regular inspection of food and beverage preparation and presentation and maintain inventory to enhance sales.

·       Ensure the work procedure and policies are in compliance with health and safety regulations and established food quality and standards.

·       Supervise guest complaints, ensure satisfaction and administer efficient follow up for same to receive feedback.

·       Corporate with different departments to ensure smooth and effective operation.

·       Recruit and organize training programs for staffs followed by restaurant’s development requirements.

·       Establish and implement budget plans to successfully increase profit margins.

 

Qualifications:

·       College/CEGEP

·       At least five years experience of related industry

·       Excellent oral and written communication

·       Excellent leadership

·       Ability to work under fast-paced and team corporation environment

·       Flexibility, Reliability, Organized, Dependability and Client focus

·       Fluent Chinese is required

 

Job Type: Permanent, full-time position

Salary: $22 per hour for 40 hours per week
