Salary: $21.25 per hour for 40 hours/week

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Completion of secondary school is usually required

Experience: Completion of a university or college program in landscaping, landscape design is usually required or 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Manual dexterity.

Personal Suitability: Reliability, Flexibility and Team player.

Work Location:  Various Locations.

Construction helper Specific Skills:

·         Install and maintain seasonal plants

·         Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces

·         Mulch, edge and weed gardens

·         Prune and trim trees and bushes

·         Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers

·         Monitor and maintain the health of plants

·         Deal with pest problems that could damage plants

·         Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter

·         Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens

·         Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures.
