Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Responsibilities Tasks Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster Cure freshly plastered surfaces Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound Install exterior and interior steel studs Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation Estimate costs and materials Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Large workload Manual dexterity Physically demanding Repetitive tasks Personal suitability Flexibility Reliability Team player Who can apply to this job?
